Kentucky Bluegrass - custom blend of several different Kentucky
Bluegrass varieties.
Cold Season turf - top growth dormant in winter, recovers quickly in spring.
Deep dark green color - gets darker with age and health.
Self-repairing - grows by underground stems called rhizomes, which also allow this grass to 'creep.'
Aggressive - grows quickly and aggressively, choking out other grasses and weeds.

General Purpose Turf
Bluegrass / Ryegrass mix - special mix of Kentucky Bluegrass and Perennial Ryegrass.
Shines - mix characteristics give this turf a highly radiant sheen.
Texture - fine grass blades makes this turf look and feel soft!
Shade Tolerant - due to careful seed selection, this turf mix can tolerate partial shade.
Creeping - similar to the Emerald Blue product, this grass grows quickly and has a tendency to 'creep.'
DuraTurf
Hardy Blend for Most Conditions
Fescue / Bluegrass - a new mix consisting mainly of Tall Fescue and a small amount of Kentucky Bluegrass.
Resilient - excels in poor soil conditions, such as high ph, where other grasses fail.
Deep Roots - unique root system can grow from two or three times the depth of other turf types, giving the DuraTURF handful of beneficial qualities like being able to hold and use more water longer.
All around toughness - thick grass blades combined with the unique deep root system, shade tolerance, and its ability to thrive in poor soils make this the most durable grass around.

Mix
Shade Tolerant - custom mix of shade tolerant turf grasses.
Fine Texture - very fine bladed grass, deep dark green color.
Root system - similar to the DuraTURF mix, this grass has a deep growing root system allowing it to find and retain water more easily; making the turf drought resistant and of course more suited to shady areas.

Turf
Quality Turf - Turtle Turf is a specialty turf grown exclusively by Dayton Valley Turf in Northern Nevada.
SLOW GROWING - this turf typically will grow only about 8 inches per year. Slow growing equals less mowing!
LESS WATER - requires between 50% - 70% less water then Kentucky Bluegrass to thrive.
LESS FERTILIZATION - will only accept 4 lbs of Nitrogen per year - now that's savings!
BuffaloGrass
Legacy Turfgrass - Buffalo grass is a custom turfgrass grown exlusively by Dayton Valley Turf in Northern Nevada.
WATER SAVING - Buffalo grass is a warm season turf and uses less water on a daily basis then Bluegrasses and fescues.
